At 1:30 this morning, a MSU junior climbed to the top of the video board where he slipped and landed on his head after falling approximately 18 feet onto a platform below. Very sad news indeed.
The south end zone video board is the one just in front of the M-club, not the new one built with the 2014 stadium expansion.
According to the report, MSU has had a number of issues in the past with students attempting to climb the video board for a view of the entire campus. Either as dares from others or for a personal thrill.
