Mississippi State’s 2016 recruiting class swelled to 15 on Thursday with the addition of three-star wide receiver Zach Farrar.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder from Southlake, Texas took an official visit to MSU last weekend and chose the Bulldogs over 16 other offers including finalists Washington, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State.
Farrar caught 56 passes for 1,114 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior at Southlake Carroll. He has been clocked with a 4.48 forty time and a 38-inch vertical.
Farrar’s commitment extends to the Diamond Dogs as well. The left-handed outfielder was named an honorable mention for Underclassmen All-American by Perfect Game as a junior.
