Noxubee County five-star defensive end and Mississippi State signee Jeffrey Simmons and another female were videoed striking another female during an altercation on Thursday, according to WCBI.
The video, which can be seen here, shows Simmons punching the female on the ground.
The 6-foot-4, 277-pounder posted an apology for the incident on Saturday.
“Where do I start? Where do I begin? Wow! Decisions, choices, and actions should always be carefully thought through when incidents occur. I take full responsibility for my actions that occurred on Thursday evening. My apology goes out to the Taylor Family and especially to Sophia Taylor.
