After each football game, MSU selects one or two players to get a game ball for outstanding performance. Since there were no outstanding performances against Auburn, the coaches felt they should just five it to the guy who tried the hardest. But since no one tried hard, they decided to just give it to the equipment manager.
A poll was taken on Sunday, and 12% of MSU fans approved of the all-maroon clad uniforms. That was more than triple the amount of fans who approved of the team’s performance.
There was some griping about the pant-stripes being white/silver/white instead of silver/white/silver and/or with them being ugly.
