Practice No. 1 at Mississippi State is in the books. The Bulldogs worked in shells and shorts on the first day. It was one of three practices this week that have the opening portions of practice open to the media.
My main objective today was to stockpile some photos of the 20 newcomers that were suiting up for the first time so I wasn’t paying as much attention to drills as a I normally do during bowl and spring practices but I’ll share the few notes I jotted down in my notebook.
For the first time that I can ever remember, nobody and I repeat nobody was in the injury pit.
