One of the most remarkable seasons in Mississippi State women's golf has drawn to a close.
Mississippi State women's golf provided many highlights over the course of the season, including reaching No. 2 in the nation, but on Saturday, the impressive season came to an end as the Bulldogs finished 12th at the NCAA Raleigh Regional.
The Bulldogs needed to have secured a sixth place finish in order to advance to nationals.
The Bulldogs entered Saturday's final round with a team total of 606, placing them in a tie for tenth place with Furman, Iowa State, and Florida, but Mississippi State only stood ten shots behind Ohio State and North Carolina State, the two teams tied for sixth.
