Vic Schaefer’s team just keeps winning. And they’re continuing to crush teams while they do it. Mississippi State’s margin of victory last night was larger than the point total that Vanderbilt put up.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a hot start, leading the Commodores 23-6 after the first quarter. And it’s not like it got any better for Vanderbilt from there. MSU simply did not take its foot off the gas.
At half, Mississippi State had a 42-15 lead. Victoria Vivians had outscored Vanderbilt on her own at that point.
Mississippi State would cruise in the second half, outscoring Vandy 44-26, giving MSU the 86-41 victory.
