Vann Stuedeman and Mississippi State’s softball team just keep winning. The Bulldogs have improved to 20-3 on the year as they won their SEC opener last night in impressive fashion, a 5-2 win in College Station, Texas over 5th ranked Texas A&M.
Regan Green and Alexis Silkwood combined to be a formidable duo in the circle for State. Green drew the start and got her 4th win on the season, throwing 6.0 innings and only surrendering 4 hits to a team that averages 7.5 a game. Silkwood came in for the 7th inning and was able to keep A&M from clawing their way back into the game.
