As the Mississippi State softball team continues to play in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, Vann Stuedeman’s team takes another win from another ranked team. After the Bulldogs run ruled #23 Nebraska 9-0 yesterday, MSU defeated #16 Oklahoma State 9-4 today.
The Bulldogs fell behind early, allowing Oklahoma State to take a 3-0 lead after two innings of play. However, Mississippi State wan’t fazed by the deficit to their ranked opponent and quickly mounted a comeback.
A Reggie Harrison single got MSU on the board in the 3rd, bringing Bevia Robinson home. Sarai Niu would follow that up with a double, scoring another run.
