For the 30th time this season, the Mississippi State softball team has claimed a win. The Bulldogs decimated Alcorn State’s softball team last night. In 5 innings, Mississippi State shutout Alcorn State and run ruled them in the process.
Holly Ward stepped into the circle for MSU and dominated through the game. Ward only allowed 3 hits through her 5 innings pitched and then struck out 6 of the 19 opposing batters she faced. Ward only needed 79 pitches to make it through the entire game.
