Mississippi State Soccer Snags Sunday Victory over UT Martin

The Mississippi State Bulldogs gave up an early goal in their match against UT Martin Sunday, but they rallied to put three balls in the back of the net to pick up a 3-1 victory in Starkville.

Saphyra Coombs-James scored the first goal of the contest on a backdoor header at the 14:19 mark to put UT Martin ahead 1-0.

However, the Bulldogs would get two goals to take a 2-1 lead into the half. MaKayla Waldner tied the contest when she scored her second goal of the season at the 29:57 mark, and Mallory Eubanks put in the goal to put Bulldogs ahead for good at the 40:49 mark.
