STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State senior cornerback Korey Charles entered the NCAA transfer portal Tuesday morning.
In 17 games with the Bulldogs from 2017-19, the native of Tallahassee, Florida, recorded eight career tackles and forced a fumble. Charles has not appeared in a game this season. He will have one year of eligibility due to the NCAA’s blanket waiver, which grants players an extra year of eligibility due to unique circumstances presented by COVID-19.
Charles was a do-it-all athlete at North Florida Christian School, playing running back, wide receiver and defensive back for the Eagles.
