Mississippi State basketball got back on track Saturday afternoon, defeating Tulane 69-59.
After consecutive losses to Missouri Kansas City and Florida State that put Mississippi State under .500, the Bulldogs were able to rebound with a 69-59 victory over Tulane on Saturday.
Malik Newman led the way for Mississippi State with 15 points. Right behind him were Craig Sword with 14, and although dealing with a bone bruise in his knee, Gavin Ware added 12 points of his own.
This game was pretty back and forth for a majority of the 1st half before Mississippi State created some separation, going into the locker room with a 40-34 lead.
