The Clarion-Ledger has begun releasing their annual Dandy Dozen team. The staff at the C-L names the twelve best Magnolia State players in the 2018 class. It is always a big deal when a prospect sees his name on the team.
Today, the C-L unveiled their second member of this year’s Dandy Dozen team.
Mississippi State commit Marcus Murphy was selected.
Murphy, a West Point product, is rated a 4-star prospect by 247Sports. The West Point star decommitted from the Bulldogs in January, but he rejoined the Mississippi State recruiting class in early May.
