Mississippi State Recruiting: Bulldogs add 2018 offensive lineman

Griffin McDowell pledged his commitment to Dan Mullen and the Mississippi State staff early Friday morning. McDowell, a 6-foot-4 and 280 pound offensive lineman, currently plays for Lee County High School in the Peach State.

McDowell camped at Mississippi State and received his first SEC offer from the Bulldogs earlier this month. Tight end coach D.J. Looney is his primary recruiter, and he is obviously intrigued about McDowell’s potential to grow into a solid SEC lineman.

The newest addition to Mississippi State’s 2018 recruiting class announced his decision via Twitter Friday morning:
