Stephen Guidry was one of Mississippi State’s priority targets at the wide receiver position in last year’s recruiting cycle. Unfortunately, Guidry committed to the home state LSU Tigers over both Mississippi State and Arizona State last December.
However, Guidry failed to qualify academically in this past recruiting cycle and was forced to go stay in the JUCO system for another year. Guidry will play out his sophomore season at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Mississippi this fall.
Despite failing to get out of Hinds in time to be in February’s signing class, Guidry remains a hot commodity at the receiver position for the Bulldogs.
