Mississippi State men’s basketball set for game at South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Mississippi State men’s basketball team will look to end a four-game conference losing streak Saturday when it faces the South Carolina Gamecocks at 2:30 p.m. CT inside Colonial Life Arena. The contest will air on SEC Network.

Last time out, the Bulldogs (10-9, 4-6 SEC) suffered a 61-45 road loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Redshirt sophomore forward Tolu Smith was the lone Bulldog to score in double figures. He finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Redshirt sophomore guard D.J. Stewart Jr. and sophomore guard Iverson Molinar scored eight and six points, respectively.
