Mississippi State men’s basketball beats South Carolina 69-48

STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi State men’s basketball team cruised to a 69-48 win over South Carolina Wednesday night at Humphrey Coliseum.

With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 13-11 (7-8 SEC), while the Gamecocks fall to 5-12 (3-10 SEC).

Redshirt sophomore guard D.J. Stewart Jr. led MSU with 15 points and five assists, while redshirt senior forward Abdul Ado joined him in double figures with 11 points. He also recorded eight rebounds and three blocks.

Redshirt sophomore forward Tolu Smith added nine points and 13 rebounds. Sophomore guard Iverson Molinar also chipped in nine points.
