Joe Moorhead’s offense has a huge need for wide receivers that can be reliable pass catching targets. The Mississippi State football team is hoping that JaVonta Payton of Hermitage, Tennessee can be that for the Bulldogs.
Payton just signed his letter of intent to join the Mississippi State football team and he is joining the 2019 Mississippi State signing class from Northwest Community College. As a three-star recruit, Payton is ranked as the No. 28 junior college recruit in the country during this recruiting cycle. He also happens to be ranked as the No. 4 junior college prospect from the state of Tennessee.
