Nick Fitzgerald was a crucial part of granting the wish of a young Mississippi State football fan on Thursday. Yesterday afternoon, Fitzgerald headed over to Heritage Academy down the road in Columbus, Mississippi where first grader Ethan Marsh was waiting.
The only thing is, I don’t think the young Bulldog fan knew exactly what he was waiting for with this. What he was surprised with was the starting quarterback of the Mississippi State football team, an autographed helmet, and the culmination of his wish with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
According to WTVA, the seven-year-old has been battling congenital heart disease.
