While the Big Ten has been around for quite a while, the Mississippi State football team has had limited meetings with the conference.
The Big Ten is one of the most prominent college football conferences around. Sometimes seen as synonymous with old-school football featuring rigid running games and reliance on defense as opposed to offensive innovation, the Big Ten has featured remarkable programs and incredible coaches (including its fair share of brilliant offensive minds).
