And that’s not to say that we haven’t been looking up at the skies already. The 2016 Mississippi State football season has been a tale of droughts. One in the football sense, the other in the literal sense. Mississippi is in one of the worst droughts in state history. In fact, the eastern part of the state is in a class D4 drought. D4 is the highest classification of drought according to the Drought Monitor.
Back to football, we haven’t really gotten that much rain this football season. In fact, you could say that we haven’t gotten ANY significant rain during the football season.
