It’s safe to say that the 2018 Egg Bowl went pretty well for the Mississippi State football team. The Bulldogs hiked on up to Oxford, Mississippi and are bringing the Golden Egg back down to Starkville. MSU throttled Ole Miss and won the intense rivalry game by a score of 35-3.
This game was even more heated than most Egg Bowls tend to be. It was a perfect microcosm of what the stereotypical Egg Bowl happens to be. A benches clearing brawl went down, players were ejected from both teams. Before the Egg Bowl even began, Ole Miss students reportedly threw their drinks at Mississippi State football players.
