The Mississippi State football team (6-3 overall, 2-3 SEC) crushed Louisiana Tech (6-3 overall, 4-1 Conference USA) to get the Bulldogs to bowl eligibility in 2018. MSU had no issue doing anything on offense and kept the visiting team of Bulldogs quiet whenever Louisiana Tech tried to get the ball moving.
MSU jumped out to a quick start on offense thanks to multiple connections from Nick Fitzgerald to his tight ends, receivers, and even one of his running backs. On the first drive, Mississippi State only needed four plays to get 70 yards and the Bulldogs capped the drive with a touchdown pass to Stephen Guidry.
