Because the Bulldogs knocked down then No. 8 Auburn on Saturday evening, the Mississippi State football team has fought its way back into the AP Poll’s top 25 rankings. After week 6 of the 2018 college football season, the Mississippi State Bulldogs sit at No. 24 in the rankings with a 4-2 overall record and a 1-2 record in SEC play.
Mississippi State’s win on Saturday was impressive in multiple regards. The Bulldogs ran right through Auburn’s incredibly stout rush defense thanks to a tremendous effort from the offensive line as well as Nick Fitzgerald, Kylin Hill, and Aeris Williams.
