Mississippi State opened eyes when it launched a billboard campaign in Dallas supporting former Bulldogs star Dak Prescott after he was named the Cowboys’ starting quarterback. The positive attention garnered by those billboards inspired the school to branch out the program to include all of its former players in the NFL.
The latest round of billboards in the “From State to Sundays” campaign features fullback Malcolm Johnson of the Cleveland Browns. Johnson and Prescott are two of 11 former Bulldogs in the NFL this season, all of whom played under Dan Mullen in Starkville.
