Vic Schaefer and the Mississippi State basketball team is moving on in the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs bested the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Sweet Sixteen tonight. Now, for the second year in a row, MSU is headed to the Elite Eight.
In Kansas City tonight, Teaira McCowan took the game over and gave the Bulldogs a commanding performance. McCowan posted yet another double-double against the Wolfpack, scoring 24 points on a perfect 11 for 11 shooting and then pulling down 15 rebounds.
McCowan’s performance helped the Mississippi State Bulldogs survive the onslaught that Kiara Leslie put on for North Carolina State tonight.
