Elena Lovato is officially back with the Mississippi State basketball program! When Carly Thibault left the Bulldogs to head on to coach the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Vic Schaefer had to find someone new to come in and help MSU move forward.
As it just so happens to turn out, that someone new is actually someone that is very familiar with Schaefer, Mississippi State basketball, Starkville, and everything surround it. That would be Elena Lovato, MSU’s former assistant coach and now MSU’s new assistant coach all over again.
Elena Lovato is replacing Carly Thibault, who was actually brought in to replace Elena Lovato.
