The Mississippi State baseball team just finished things up in Omaha and now they’re probably getting a new head coach. It looks like John Cohen didn’t wait for too long after the season was ended to get things wrapped up with the coaching search. If D1Baseball’s Kendall Rogers has an accurate report, then Chris Lemonis will be the next head coach of the Mississippi State baseball team.
Lemonis has been a pretty successful head coach over at Indiana, where he led the Hoosiers to a 40 win season this year as they made it into the Austin Regional.
