Mississippi State Baseball Opens Dudy Noble Field With Blowout Win

In a sparkling new stadium, Mississippi State’s baseball team has claimed its 7th win of the season. The Mississippi State Bulldogs are now 7-5 and are finally back to playing baseball in Starkville. And there’s no better way to open up a new stadium than with an 8 run win over a visiting team.

Mississippi State welcomed the New Mexico State Aggies into Starkville, and the Bulldogs greeted their guests with a ton of offense. The Bulldogs racked up 9 runs (7 of which were RBIS) off of 12 hits this evening. Junior outfielder and leadoff hitter Jake Mangum led the way for MSU with 3 hits on 3 at bats, an RBI, and then two walks.
