Mississippi State’s football recruiting class gained its thirteenth and fourteenth commitments on this past Maroon Friday.
Defensive backs Tyrese Ross and Shawn Preston both announced their pledges to the Bulldogs. Todd Grantham is now in charge of the defense and both defensive backs fit the mold of the aggressive style he loves to implement.
Another commitment that is expected to play in the secondary in Starkville is West Point’s Marcus Murphy. Murphy re-committed to the Bulldogs in May after initially pulling back from his commitment in January. The do-it-all athlete is being recruited as a safety for Mississippi State.
