Mills — who also has experience at corner — is expected to be a second-day pick. He is looking to carry on a strong tradition of LSU defensive backs having NFL success.
Prescott — who appears to be a third-day pick — left Mississippi State having rewritten the school’s record book. He was a great fit in coach Dan Mullen’s version of the spread, but will have to show he can succeed in a pro-style offense at the next level. One thing scouts are looking at this week is his ability to play from under center; he spent almost all of his time in the shotgun at Mississippi State.
