Mississippi State’s 6-2 league record and second place finish in the SEC West in 2014 was not enough to convince the masses at SEC Media Days that the Bulldogs could repeat the process.
MSU was picked to finish last in the division for the second straight season. The Bulldogs received one first place vote and 482 total points, 146 points behind Texas A&M who is picked sixth in the division.
Alabama, the 2014 SEC West champion, is picked to win the division once again but in a strange turn of events, the media picked its division rival Auburn to win the SEC Championship.
