Johnathan Abram selected 27th overall by Oakland Raiders in NFL Draft

There is nothing quite like a hard-hitting safety that leaves it all on the field game after game, as Abram will significantly bolster the Raiders’ defense. He will be paired up with Karl Joseph, another thumper. Abram posted 170 total tackles, 14 for loss, five sacks, 10 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions as a Bulldog, enough to prove himself to the Raiders. Oakland will soon have one of the NFL’s most lethal defensive backfield with the addition of Abram.

Abram is a raw talent and is in good hands under head coach Jon Gruden and defensive coordinator Paul Guenther.
