Jacob Lindgren has reached the majors, and he could see action Sunday in the Bronx.
Not long after being drafted, former Mississippi State pitcher Jacob Lindgren found himself as a player not expected to wait long to be playing in the pinstripes of the New York Yankees. The wait to put on that uniform will end Sunday as Lindgren will be called up for Sunday's contest according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
Lindgren has pitched well since being selected in the second round of the June 2014 draft by the Yankees, who used their first pick in the draft to select the Bulldog lefty less than a year ago.
