Incredible but true: Dan Mullen turning Mississippi State into a quarterback factory

Earlier this week, Mississippi State garnered a commitment from four-star dual-threat quarterback Jalen Mayden, who fits the Dan Mullen quarterback mold as he is big, athletic and can run and throw.

Mayden (6 feet 2, 215 pounds), from Sachse (Texas) High in the Dallas suburbs, chose Mississippi State over, among others, Nebraska, Baylor, Tennessee and Louisville. Mayden is one of the top-15 dual-threat quarterbacks nationally.

He would be the second four-star quarterback prospect in as many years to sign with Mullen and the Bulldogs, as Keytaon Thompson was an early enrollee from the 2017 class.
