AUBURN, Ala., – No. 4 Mississippi State claimed its sixth-straight victory in a 4-0 win at Auburn Friday night.
The Bulldogs worked their magic at the plate with all four runs coming with two outs while ace Dakota Hudson pitched a complete game shutout on the mound.
Hudson improved to 8-3 on the year while scattering six hits and a walk while striking out six. It was the third time the junior right-hander has thrown nine innings in a start this spring.
MSU (35-14-1, 16-9 SEC) pounded out 11 hits on the evening as well led by Jacob Robson‘s 2-for-3 performance with a double.
