Mississippi State junior pitcher Dakota Hudson earned his second preseason All-American recognition after being named to second team by D1Baseball.com on Monday.
The 6-foot-5 right-hander was previous picked as a third team All-American by Perfect Game.
Hudson made 17 relief appearances last spring going 1-1 with a 4.32 ERA, 26 strikeouts and 11 walks in 16 2/3 innings. He also enjoyed a stellar summer in the Cape Cod League finishing fifth with a 1.69 ERA and 41 strikeouts.
The Dunlap, Tennessee native was also rated the ninth-best pro prospect in college by D1Baseball.com last week.
