How big of a role will Chauncey Rivers play on Mississippi State’s defensive line?

With the departures of Montez Sweat, Jeffery Simmons, and Gerri Green, Rivers is set to lead Mississippi State’s new and revamped line.

While Rivers’ collegiate career has had its ups and downs, there is no questioning his talent. Per his speed and agility, Rivers should have his share of sacks and quarterback hits. The senior lineman can set the edge and be a disruption in the backfield.

Rivers will be used in a multitude of schemes. Whether it be in the running or passing game, his skillset is one that can adjust.
