Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze and Mississippi State counterpart Dan Mullen will participate in an April 30 pro-am golf event before the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic, the tournament confirmed via Yahoo.
The C Shine Pro-Am includes about 200 amateurs at the Saucier, Miss., golf course, located near Biloxi.
The amateur event is connected with the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic, a PGA Tour Champions event with an elite field that includes Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Tom Kite and John Daly.
