Shortly after sources reported the hire of Gary Henderson and promotion of Will Coggin, Mississippi State has confirmed the reports.
Gary Henderson will be Mississippi State's new pitching coach, replacing Wes Johnson. Henderson was previously the head coach at Kentucky, earning SEC Coach of the Year honors in 2012. He was also the pitching coach at Oregon State and later at Kentucky under John Cohen.
Will Coggin will be Mississippi State's new recruiting coordinator, replacing Nick Mingione. Coggin was previously MSU's coordinator of camps and, in addition to his duties as recruiting coordinator, Coggin will be taking over Mingione's coaching duties.
