Over the years, the game of football has become much more friendly toward the offensive side, with a focus on the passing game. Coach Joe Moorhead wanted receivers that could be deep threats and he was able to find them in the class of 2020. Focus was placed on finding receivers to stretch the field and create plays for the Bulldogs and the coaching staff did a good job of filling those needs.
Malik Heath is a player that Mississippi State got into recruiting battles SEC foes Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina for Heath’s services. Big plays are needed for Moorhead’s offense and adding Heath was a signing day victory for the Bulldogs.
