Mississippi State added one player and lost another on Thursday.
The Bulldogs signed four-star power forward Aric Holman and parted ways with shooting guard Maurice Dunlap.
Dunlap decided to transfer after appearing in seven games for Rick Ray last year before a fractured wrist and hamstring injury ended his true freshman season. He averaged 2.9 points and 10.3 minutes per game while shooting 27.3-percent from the field.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder from Greenwood qualified for a medical redshirt and should have four years of eligibility remaining.
His transfer opens up a scholarship for Holman.
