Draft analyst: Mississippi State WR Fred Ross a great value pick on 3rd day

Mississippi State wide receiver Fred Ross is considered a third-day pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, but draft analyst Tony Pauline thinks he could be one of the better value picks on the final day.

“He’s not really big and not super fast, but runs great routes, separates from defenders and catches everything in sight,” Pauline wrote. “Ross will produce as a rookie lining up as a fourth receiver.”

Ross finished his career at Mississippi State with a slew of school career records, including receptions (199) and receiving yards (2,528). He is tied for second in receiving TDs with 22.
