Per a report from TFY Draft Insider, Mississippi State receiver De’Runnya Wilson will forego his senior season and enter the NFL Draft this spring. That is what he is telling those close to him, at least.
Wilson isn’t the best receiver, as he has just 50 catches for 757 yards and nine touchdowns on the year. However, he has great size at 6-foot-5, 225 pounds. In terms of his production, a lot of that can be due to having a read-option quarterback in Dak Prescott getting him the ball.
Nothing against Prescott, but he is tailored to coach Dan Mullen’s offense which explain’s Wilson’s production.
