Dak Prescott charged with DUI in Starkville

Starkville Police Chief Frank Nichols told the Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger that Prescott, who was driving a 2016 Cadillac Escalade, was pulled over around 1 a.m.

The newspaper reported that Pro Sports Management, which is representing Prescott, refused comment.

Prescott hosted a camp Saturday morning at Starkville High. He participated in Mississippi State’s pro day Thursday.

Whether the arrest hurts his draft stock remains to be seen. Given that he never has been in any trouble and has been seen as a model citizen, this may be viewed as a one-time issue. He is seen as a mid-round pick in a draft that is not that deep at quarterback.
