Crimson Tide easily rolls right past Mississippi State

Starkville Daily News

It was early last week when Mississippi State head coach Joe Moorhead said that for the Bulldogs to have a chance to beat Alabama on Saturday, MSU didn’t have to do anything extraordinary, it just had to do ordinary things extraordinarily well. By game time, the only thing extraordinary was the ease with which the Crimson Tide put away the Bulldogs.

Mississippi State was beaten handily by No. 4 Alabama by a score of 38-7 at Davis Wade Stadium. It was a whipping from essentially the opening kickoff on as the Crimson Tide built a 14-0 lead early and never really looked back.
