Strength of schedule really matters.
That was the biggest takeaway from the NCAA tournament selection committee's first reveal of its top 16 teams on Monday.
A host of criteria enter into the committee's ranking of the teams both now and when the final decisions are made in March. But Monday's reveal -- like many of the seeds in last season's tournament -- indicated that this group of 10 has strong feelings about how much the schedules should be factored.
