Coggin named coordinator of camps

Former Mississippi State baseball player Will Coggin has been named MSU coordinator of baseball camps, head coach John Cohen announced Wednesday. Coggin replaces Zach Dillon, who took a coaching position this past month with McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas.

“Will is a winner,” Cohen said. “He has been a big part of postseason championships at MSU and then became an integral part of the most successful run in St. Johns River State College history. His work ethic and expertise in offensive baseball is among the best in the country.”

In addition to his duties associated with directing MSU’s summer and winter baseball camps, Coggin will also serve as the Bulldogs’ volunteer assistant coach and coach first base during the season.
