Calhoun earns spot on SEC Community Service Team

Taveze Calhoun‘s charity work off the field continues to be recognized.

The Mississippi State senior cornerback was selected to the SEC Community Service Team in addition to his previous nomination to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.

Calhoun volunteers his time at several charities including the Starkville Salvation Army, Starkville Manor Nursing Home, Oktibbeha County Humane Society and Deuce McAllister’s Catch 22 Foundation. He also helped Louisville residents during the aftermath of a tornado.

The Morton native’s efforts in the classroom have also been rewarded. Calhoun has already graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary studies and is pursuing a master’s degree in workforce leadership while maintaining a 3.
